Driving Cross Country

Last minute, my friend Shawn Corrigan (www.shawncorrigan.com) and I decided to drive cross country after I had a photo shoot in Detriot.  Shawn started the drive from Philly, then to Buffalo, cut through Canada and into Detriot, where he picked me up.  The first night we stopped in Chicago to visit friends  and then decided to go north to avoid a storm.  We spent a night in Minneapolis, then muscled our way through North Dakota where we spent the night at a truck stop. The next morning we arrived at Yellowstone National Park.  We spent two days in Yellowstone, then drove to Glacier National Park, and spent another two days there.  We then stopped by to see our photographer friend, Shanenon (shanenon.com) on the way to spend the night in Boise, Idaho.  Lake Tahoe was our next stop where where we visited another friend, Vince (runvmc.com).  We stayed out a bit too late that night and I missed my flight from San Francisco to Philadelphia.  The next flight flew out of Reno, so I never actually made it to California.  I didn’t mind though because it really was an awesome trip.

The photo below was taken at Yellowstone National Park where I was shooting for the Rave Run section of Runner’s World Magazine.   To view more images from Yellowstone National Park click here to view the gallery.  To see the images from Glacier National Park, click here.
